Boot Camp 2014

Boot Camp 2014

Startup Weekends are weekend-long, hands-on experiences where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can find out if startup ideas are viable.  On average, half of Startup Weekend’s attendees have technical or design backgrounds, the other half are from business side.

Beginning with open mic pitches on Friday, attendees bring their best ideas and inspire others to join their team. Over Saturday and Sunday teams focus on customer development, validating their ideas, practicing LEAN Startup Methodologies and building a minimal viable product. On Sunday evening teams demo their prototypes and receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts.

Before the actual event of Startup Weekend, a Boot Camp is organized. It can be seen more or less as a preparation session for the actual event.10542966_530243977106275_4337454673778848813_o10454978_528904507240222_3941359997765277701_o

An event like Startup Weekend is quite novel and innovative, especially for the Indian entrepreneurial scene. This uniqueness makes it a necessity to get the basics and all the intricacies of the event right, so that one can extract the maximum benefit for themselves and worth for their money when attending the event. This problem is solved by the Boot Camp which is organized and convened by the top level SACC officials so that all the participants are clear about what’s gonna happen.

The Boot Camp for Startup Weekend Dehradun takes place on 12th September, 2014.

Startup Weekend is dedicated to nurturing the entrepreneurial talent of the city, giving it a much needed push into the real world. So join the movement, and see the world like never before!
