From the educated Modi’s Union ministers who are graduated from Yale University and to the special Einstein-Discovered-Gravity Cabinet Ministers, the country has been experiencing a democratic melodrama in recent times. Where better public health, economic progress, enhanced social security, and smooth education should have been the prime mottos of the government, the present government is leading the country into a different and unnecessary track. Gow Rakshak (the cow vigilantes) and various orthodox Hindu Dal are pulling the evergreen mentality of Indian Society. Even after all these anyone who dares to speak against the evil practices of the government and its alliances is declared as anti-national. Then my friend, where is the goddamn democracy if you cannot raise the wrong?

Back in 2017, Paulo Coelho tweeted. ‘you can love your country without having to love your government.’ The aforesaid tweet by the famous author is the basis of nationalism that forms the foundation of democracy. The present NDA government in India doesn’t seem to agree with the statement. People fears speaking anything, not in the liking of the government even the economic experts and scientists. Scientists in the various research groups fear their fund will cut short if they speak against anything against Modi Government.

Sanjiv Bhatt who was a former Indian Police Service officer from Gujarat. He is known for his role in filing an affidavit in the Supreme Court of India against the then Chief Minister of the Government of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, the present PM of India, concerning Modi’s alleged role in the 2002 Gujarat riots. He claimed to have attended a meeting, during which Modi allegedly asked top police officials to let Hindus vent out their anger against the Muslims. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment by Jamnagar Sessions Court in Gujarat after he was found guilty in a 1990 custodial death case. Experts say he has been falsely accused in the custodial death case as he was a lone voice against the Modi government since the riots in Gujarat in 2002. No one can raise voice against Mr. Modi and his government as the Bhakts believe Modi has supernatural powers to reinstate the old heritage of India.

What will happen when you give a sensitive ministry like Finance Ministry to someone who doesn’t know the ABC of Economy, Commerce, and Trade? A few days back, our Finance minister said in a press meet, that the slowdown in the automobile sector was due to many factors like the change in the mindset of millennials, who now prefer taxi aggregators like Ola and Uber, instead of committing for monthly installments to own a car. How come a minister of such stature could speak like that? It reflects only one thing, the inefficiency and immaturity in the Modi Cabinet when it comes to Ministry like Finance Ministry. The country dearly misses someone like Arun Jaitley who was always a step ahead in everything related to this ministry.

You can read my last editorial on Unnao Rape Incident, you will know how Yogi and his state ministers tried to safeguard the MLA who raped a minor girl in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Deputy of CM of Karnataka led by BJP party was caught seeing Pornography in his own mobile phone just a few years before he took the charge of Deputy CM. I can continue speaking so many things where everything is going against the principle of Democracy. But here I stop and will speak again in my next editorial.
