The signing of S-400 Deal With Russia: Major Blow to India’s all-time enemy

There is a good news coming from Indian Defense as India has signed the long-awaited Rs. 40,000 Crore deal with Russia for 5 advanced S-400 Triumf Surface-to-Air Missile just three weeks ago. It will bolster the Air Defense of the country as it is capable of launching 4 missiles at different ranges up to 400 km from the surface to air in case of the enemy missile threat. Though there is a possible chance of CAATSA Sanctions on India for buying missiles and weaponry from Russia. But the geopolitical situation with Russia, The US, Pakistan, China, and India altogether might provide a waiver to India from the US. The addition of S-400 will add an edge to India’s overall Air Defense horizon.

Virat’s 10,000 Runs Milestone in ODI Cricket: Let’s Talk in Numbers

We wish India’s Cricket Team, Captain Virat Kohli, the heartiest congratulations for achieving the 10,000 ODI runs recently in the bilateral series against West India. He is the fifth Indian Player to do so after Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, and MS Dhoni. It just took 205 innings in 213 ODI matches to complete 10,199 runs in total till date which makes him the fastest batsman to do so in the history of ODI Cricket. He has an average of 59.64 in ODI with 48 half centuries and 38 centuries in his belt. We pray and hope that he just continues his purple patch and take Indian Cricket to greater heights.

The Wave of #metoo Movement in India: My Thought

I totally reprimand this particular movement that has given an absurd and illogical edge to the so-called Feminists in India. The movement started with Tanushree Dutta’s 10 years old mob lynching where according to her, various artists from Bollywood including Nana Patekar and other seemed involved. The #metoo movement has engulfed celebrity from all parts of the country including a professor from IISc and even Amitabh Bachchan. I am not saying the statements of the various women are false against all those men but it has propagated in a wrong manner. Now, the companies and big institutions will think twice before hiring a female employee as false claims and cases would come up in the future under the umbrella of #Metoo. The ‘Gender-Equality’ slogan will get a stab right at its back I suppose and making jobs and opportunities difficult for female aspirants.

CBI Vs CBI: The Melodrama

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), India’s most reputed investigating agency has seen the melodrama of CBI’s top two officers: chief Alok Verma and his deputy Rakesh Asthana last week. One blames the other of accepting crores rupees of bribe and following the judicial hearing in the Delhi High Court. The CBI has divided into parts and became a gimmick like the script of C grade Hindi Suspense Movie where you don’t know who is the real culprit and the story goes round and round. Various raids and search investigations have already been made in each other’s house and offices and the matter finally reached to the hall of Supreme Court of India where the CJI Gogoi has asked Central Vigilance Commission, the governing body of CBI to further investigate the matter deeply and prove or nullify the allegations from both the sides. The point is, the TRUST of the common people on CBI when there will be a crime in the country and CBI gets to investigate the case. The question is, can you still trust the proceedings of CBI’s future crime investigations.
