INGREDIENTS

  • 14 cup butter
  • 3  medium onions, finely sliced (2 cups)
  • 2  large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1  tablespoon   thin sliced fresh ginger
  • 2  tablespoons kashmiri red Chilli powder 
  • 2  teaspoons salt
  • 1  teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon coriander seed
  • 1kg chicken cut into 10 serving pieces
  • 1 big size diced tomato
  • 14 cup  chopped fresh cilantro
  • 34 cup cashews, roasted 
  • 34 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup spring onion
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3-4 cardamom
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 5-6 black paper
  • 5-6 dry red Chilli
  • 1 Bay Leaf (Tez Patta)
  • Oil as needed

Time needed: 30 minutes.

This is an easy chicken curry recipe to spice up Dinner with your loved ones. This recipe features a thick sauce filled with the aroma of Indian spices. You can serve this dish with rice or with naan flatbread.

Instructions:

  1. Step 1

    At first, take a pan and add 1 tbsp oil add onion, ginger, dry masala (cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, dry red Chilli, Bay Leaf (Tez Patta), cloves and fry for some minutes then add tomatoes and again fry until it become tender.

    Now switch off flame and make it cool down den blend it in a jar

    In the same pan, add some more oil and fry all the chicken until it becomes tender add some salt too.

  4. Step 4

    After that, add all the blended masala to it and fry for 5-10 mins in low flame. When oil starts come out add yogurt and fry it until the water get dry out.

  5. Step 5

    Thereafter, add 1 tsp butter to it now cook for some time now add cashew paste to it and mix it well

  6. Step 6

    Now add kashmiri red Chilli powder and give some water and cover it

  7. Step 7

    At last, add spring onion and give some butter to it and cover that and serve hot.
